4/4 Ross Street was the former home of SHATRICK. Whilst in residence they watched their humble home transform into The Salon: an elitist hair salon that practice cult-like ritualistic stylings, confession and obedience. Posing as the 'Salon Elite', SHATRICK induct members of the audience, rebranding them as 'Salon Members' by cutting and styling their hair to comply with Salon standards. Assigned the colour and length suitable of their respective age bracket, audience members become a public example for the 'Salon Elite' to prove dominance with. Their hair is replaced with wigs that are roughly cut into to the relentless beat of a techno backing track.
