BIO/CV
Patrick Zaia is an artist, writer and musician based in Brisbane, Australia. Ideas around horror, aesthetics, alienation, and the non-human constellate and interconnect throughout his cross-disciplinary practice, forming large-scale installations that are both humorous and unnerving in equal measure. These ideas are further refined and articulated in his writing, which encompasses catalogue essays, articles and reviews. He has exhibited widely throughout Australia and his writing has been published by a number of national and international journals, magazines and galleries.
